Brand new - Aquatics Live!

The only national aquatics show for the thousands of aquarists and fishkeepers in the UK.

Aquatics Live will bring together more than a hundred high street and on-line specialist retailers drawn from all over the country, giving you a unique chance to shop, ask questions and see first-hand the widest range of available products.  Visitors will also have a rare opportunity to talk face-to-face with manufacturers about their products and see demonstrations of the latest innovations in fishkeeping.

In the two Seminar Theatres hosted by experts, presentations will be running all day, aimed not only at experienced aquarists and specialists, but also at beginners and novices who are looking for advice and inspiration.

National associations and clubs will be on site with information for new members. Colleges offering aquatics courses will be there to advise on specialist education and careers.

The Features
Our four dynamic feature areas are designed to capture the imagination of both novice and experienced aquarists alike.

Indonesian Sharks -
An eight foot, 400 gallon shark tank containing Leopard sharks, white tips and a selection of large marine fish. Aquascaping will include corals and live rocks to create a truly stunning display.

Crocodiles of the World -
Shaun Foggett invites visitors to join him at his enclosure to share his fascination with these ancient reptiles, to be photographed with one of his specimens and enjoy his baby croc aquarium.

Sea Life Centre Touchpools -
Experts from the Sea Life Centre provide a memorable and educational
hands-on experience for budding aquarists with their marine touch pools.

Aquascaping Workshop -
George Farmer and the UKAPS team offer expert help to young hobbyists in an interactive aquascaping activity zone.

The Speakers
The Aquatics Live team of experts will be giving presentations for accomplished fish keepers in the two seminar theatres.

Heiko Bleher
A legend of the aquatic community who has arranged his expeditions to the Amazon specifically to fit the show into his schedule. Celebrated for his work with Discus, Heiko will also be speaking on broader ornamental fish issues.

George Farmer
Hi-tech planted tank expert and aquascaping guru, George has competed and spoken at aquatic events all over the world. Now he brings his enviable skill and expertise to seminars and demonstrations at Aquatics Live.

Chris Lukhaup
Chris has given up his highly successful music career to become an acknowledged expert in shrimps and nano aquatics. He has presented seminars at events throughout Europe but this is the first time he will have spoken at a British show.

The Venue
Olympia, London – 19th & 20th Nov 2011 – easily accessed by national rail links via all the London hubs.
Olympia has a long history of hosting prestigious events and looks forward to welcoming Aquatics Live later on this year.

Tickets
Tickets will be on sale on a first-come-first-served basis from early June through the Aquatics Live website with discounts for early booking.
